Location: Long Bennington

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent 

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08.00-17.00 (some flexibility will be required between 07.00-19.00)

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. As a Logistics Team Leader, you will be working in a hands-on role:

  • Carry out various leadership tasks within a fast-moving environment 
  • Work closely with shift supervisors in setting weekly targets through regular planning sessions
  • Communicate and implicate work instructions effectively to the team
  • Motivate and focus staff to achieve throughput and cycle time targets
  • “Right first time” quality assurance that maintain our level of service to our customers
  • Sign off and verify completed work electronically
  • Identify and report staff training requirements

About you:

  • Proven background in the motor industry or similar in a team leader/management role
  • Ability to motivate and mentor 
  • Have proven experience in refurbishment production targets
  • A focused and motivated individual with a desire to progress and develop
  • A keen eye for detail
  • The ability to communicate and implement changes with a mature and professional approach
  • A flexible attitude to working hours
  • ATA would be advantageous but not essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to overcome challenging situations
  • Maintain a tidy and professional working environment with an emphasis on Health & Safety
  • IT skills essential
