Salary Banding:  £22,000 - £24,000 + team related bonus scheme based on efficiency and targets  

Location:  Cold Meece, Staffordshire

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent  

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Shift rotation between 7.30am-5.30pm)


About the role: 
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as part of our experienced Client Services Team in a busy, varied role, leading the processing all Customer vehicles in accordance with KPI requirements. Focusing on vehicle job estimates, the role requires the following: 

  • Supporting the wider Client Services team
  • Monitor activity across sites for specified external customers and ensure continual feedback to Client Services Manager where necessary
  • Ensure designated contract vehicles are processed within set KPI parameters according to customer requirements
  • Be a daily point of contact for your customers and ensure a consistent level of service 
  • Be fully aware of all customers’ requirements and develop the Team training to meet those needs
  • Ensure all processes are reviewed and updated quarterly
  • Support other departmental team leaders as required
  • Manage your time and your team’s effectively
  • Achieve consistent levels of productivity
  • To implement changes where required.
  • Working closely with managers in setting targets, communicating and actioning instructions effectively to the team
  • Motivate and focus yourself and the team to achieve set targets and objectives
  • Action vehicle estimates to ensure a smooth operational process
  • Ensure accurate pricing
  • Liaise with the Inspection Teams to ensure consistency for the Customer  
  • Monitor and update vendor quotes, updating our key clients on repairs and repair time
  • Liaise with partners to establish best routes of repair 
  • Troubleshoot back order parts
  • Process the upgrade and downgrade of vehicles in accordance with Customer requirements
  • Maintenance of accurate customer reports and information
  • Monitor vehicles within the repair environment and ensure they are processed quickly and to required standard adhering to stock age profiles 
  • Monitor outstanding queries and take relevant action 
  • Administrative support and ad hoc duties as required  
  • Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with a special emphasis on health and safety and ISO

About you:

  • Previous customer service experience in the automotive industry, in a team leader position
  • Ability to communicate with customers, via telephone and email in a professional and proficient manner 
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail 
  • A positive and amenable character in challenging situations 
  • An excellent team player but also able to use initiative and work alone 
  • Have a flexible approach to the changing demands of the role 
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook  
  • Knowledge of Navision would be advantageous but not essential
